Zofia

Zofia

A story of memory, motherhood, and the quiet strength that binds generations.

Zofia has crossed an ocean, buried the past, and built a life out of stubborn faith and quiet resilience.

As memory begins to loosen its hold, what remains are the moments that shaped everything—kitchens thick with love and argument, choices made without ceremony, grief endured without spectacle.

Through weddings and funerals, departures and returns, Zofia stands at the center of a family bound by history, sacrifice, and fierce, unspoken love.

ZOFIA is a literary novel about what we carry, what we inherit, and what love refuses to let go of.

I carried Zofia with me for years.

She grew quietly — through memory, through family stories, through the things I couldn’t shake. This novel is my way of setting her free. - Kathy

This was such a beautifully written and heartfelt story. I really enjoyed following the journey from Europe to Toronto and the life built along the way. It’s a meaningful reminder of the strength, resilience, and sacrifices behind so many family stories. A memorable and thoughtful read.

You don't wake up inside control, you slowly adjust to it.

Unbroken

She thought she had found steady love.

Instead, she found herself disappearing.

Raised to believe that love meant being calm, accommodating, and strong for everyone else, she never questioned her instinct to stabilize the people around her. When Adam entered her life—charming, attentive, intentional—it felt like relief. Like destiny. Like finally being chosen.

But intensity is not intimacy.

And charm can be a strategy.

What begins as romance slowly tightens into something harder to name: isolation disguised as devotion, control masked as protection, apologies that arrive just in time to keep her from leaving. The shifts are subtle. The cracks are small. And by the time she realizes the ground beneath her has changed, she is already married, already anchored, already learning how easily love can become leverage.

Stories that are waiting on the shelf...

They are not unfinished, they are waiting

Both of these stories are in the works
